To cope with a changing world, any entity must develop the capability of shifting and changing, of developing new skills and attitudes: in short the capability of learning… the essence of learning is the ability to manage change by changing yourself – as much for people when they grow up as for schools when they live through turmoil. School and districts point to the opportunity we have for vastly better schools, across the socioeconomic spectrum. Now is the time for educators to embrace this opportunity and for leaders to begin to work cooperatively with teachers to truly, meaningfully oversee and improve teaching and learning.
